April 2007 Welcome to the website of the First State Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. First State ALA is proud to serve our 45+ members by providing them with opportunities for growth and development in the legal management profession. For over 25 years, our local educational programs and networking events have combined with the valuable resources available to our members through National ALA to benefit not only the members themselves but the firms, legal departments and organizations with whom they work. I am pleased to be starting my second year as President of the Chapter. The coming year promises to be a very exciting one for the Chapter as we have the honor of hosting the Region 1 Educational Conference in October. We have planned a spectacular educational program for the conference and anticipate attendance by more than 100 ALA members from throughout the Region. In addition to the Region 1 Educational Conference, we also have an outstanding program of monthly educational luncheons, social events and community projects scheduled throughout the year. We encourage you to browse through our website and see all we have to offer. If you are interested in becoming a member, be sure to check our Membership section.
